1:00–3:00 PM — Intermediate & Seniors

$80 for two days, $45 for one day.

October Master Class!

We’re excited to announce our October Master Class at Dance Project, taking place Saturday, October 24th through Sunday, October 25th!

This is a great opportunity for our dancers to learn from Mr. Sam, challenge themselves, and experience new styles and techniques.

We will also be offering a special DCDP Alumni Class on Saturday, October 24th! We’re especially excited to welcome our former dancers back into the studio!

Come dance, reconnect, and learn from Mr. Sam during this special October weekend. We can’t wait to dance with you!

Please register as soon as possible so we can determine class sizes and finalize class times!

Try Something New!

Is your dancer still interested in trying a new class? Stop by the desk to see what new class they can add to their schedule, it’s not too late!

We’ve added Musical Theater, Hip Hop, and Lyrical classes for our younger dancers! There are so many fun ways to expand their dance experience and try something new.

Rehearsal Fee

The rehearsal fee is due in October. Please include it with your October payment.

As a reminder, all payments are due during the first week of each month to avoid a late fee.

Costume Fee

Costume fees are due in November! Start paying off your costume balance now to get ahead of the holiday season.

If your dancer has an additional costume charge, that balance will be due in January.

Competition Meeting

Our Competition Team Meeting will be held on Saturday, October 17th at 2:00 PM.

We will go over all important competition dates, upcoming events, and what to look forward to during the upcoming competition season!

We’re excited to kick off another amazing year with our Competition Team!

Dance Project Calendar

The studio will be closed for the following days:

Monday, October 12th – Columbus Day/Indigenous Peoples’ Day
Wednesday, November 11th – Veterans Day

Thanksgiving Break-The studio will be closed for Thanksgiving Break from Monday, November 23rd through Saturday, November 28th.

The studio will reopen on Monday, November 30th.

Class Attendance

If, for any reason, your child cannot attend their regularly scheduled class, please call the studio to let us know. Please do not text Ms. Darlene!

We ask that you do not ask another dancer or parent to pass the information along.

Welcome back Dance Project!

Please welcome our new Dance Project families, and welcome back to all of our returning families!

The joy and gratitude felt by the Dance Project faculty and staff as our dancers entered the studio for our new season was incredible. It was wonderful to see classes reunite, excited and eager to be together once again. We’re looking forward to an exciting year at Dance Project!

New Shoes

If you have purchased new shoes for your child, please do not put their name in them until they have been approved by their teacher.

Shoes cannot be returned if your child’s name has been written in them.

Competition News

Dance Project is proud to be one of the studios that does not require auditions to be part of our Competition Team. We believe that our dancers are a team and that every dancer represents and supports one another.

We do, however, require all competition dancers to take ballet.

Ballet is the foundation of all dance training, and it is imperative that each and every competition dancer be enrolled in a ballet class. If your dancer is not currently enrolled in ballet, you will be contacted, and a ballet class will be added to their schedule.

Specialty Routines

If your dancer is interested in or has signed up for a specialty routine, half of the specialty fee is due before the routine is started. The remaining balance will be due before the second lesson.

BACK TO SCHOOL MEANS BACK TO DANCE!

It’s your LAST DAY OF REGISTRATION for the upcoming dance season!

Tonight — Wednesday, September 2nd, 4:30–6:00 PM

Stop by while you’re picking up those last-minute school supplies and register your dancer for the season!

Please do not assume we know your dancer is returning. Even if your dancer has danced with us before, we need you to officially register so we can have accurate class registrations and prepare for the first day of classes! We must know class registrations before the first day of class.

Already registered? THANK YOU! We can’t wait to see you and your dancer on the first day of classes on Saturday, September 12th!

Can’t make it in, call the studio with a credit card ready to register your dancer!

As we get closer to the start of a new year, we can’t wait to welcome our dancers back to the studio this fall!

We have an exciting 35th Anniversary celebration planned, and we can’t wait to begin celebrating this incredible milestone!

Here’s to 35 years of dance, memories, friendships, and so many amazing dancers. We can’t wait to see you back in the studio!

Current Students — Registration Reminder!

We are asking that all current students be registered by Thursday, August 27th!

Registering by this date helps us make sure that all class times are finalized and that any last-minute adjustments can be made before we get started in the fall.

We truly appreciate your help in getting registered on time!

It allows us to prepare for a smooth and exciting start to our new dance year.

Dance Project,

As we all come down from an outstanding week at Breakout Nationals, we wanted to take a moment to celebrate and shower our dancers and staff with the love they deserve. We could not be more proud of each and every one of you!

We know the hard work and sacrifice that goes into being a competitive dancer and supporting this journey, and we are so grateful that you choose Dance Project. The professionalism, grace, and class that each of you showed while representing our studio was truly heartwarming. While the awards are certainly exciting, the memories we made together will be worth even more.

Throughout the entire week, we heard nothing but praise for our dancers—both on and off the stage—from Breakout staff, judges, and fellow studios. That means more to us than any trophy ever could.

Out of the 42 routines we brought to Nationals, we placed highly in every session and earned a special award in nearly every session we competed in. What an incredible accomplishment!

We can't wait to share all of the results and celebrate together at a watch party (date to be announced!). Until then, know that the judges consistently praised your clean performances, professionalism, passion, and exciting stage presence. Hearing those comments throughout the recordings made us even prouder of everything you accomplished.

Thank you for an unforgettable week. Our hearts are so full, and we are incredibly grateful to have shared this journey with all of you. We can't wait to create even more magic together next season as we celebrate 35 years of Dance Project!

Every year, our dancers show how you can REALLY save the arts and continue the incredible Dance Project legacy. Thank you for your dedication, your passion, and your commitment to excellence.

Competition Team Reminder

As we begin preparing for another incredible season, we'd like to remind all of our competition families that Summer Workshop and Technique classes are mandatory for all competitive dancers.

These classes are an essential part of our program and help dancers maintain and build the strength, flexibility, technique, and performance quality needed to be successful throughout the season. Staying current over the summer ensures everyone is ready to begin choreography and training on the same page.

We can't wait to kick off another amazing season together!
